The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for August 27 – September 2, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

 

MEN
Nick Gates, Dakota Wesleyan
  Dakota Wesleyan’s Nick Gates is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Golf Player-of-the-Week. Gates, a sophomore from Mitchell, South Dakota, shot a two day total of 149 at the Bethany College Invite in Lindsborg, Kansas. On day one he shot a 77 at the Salina Elks Country Club, while on day two he shot a 72 at the Turkey Creek Golf Club. He tied for 9^th out 97 participants in the meet. At the meet he was top GPAC performer with Midland Lutheran and Hastings also taking part in the event.
