Debbie Remmerde
Debbie Remmerde from Northwestern has been selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Year to headline the GPAC Basketball All-Conference Teams for 2007-08.

Remmerde led the league and country in scoring this year with a 29.53 point per game average. She was the 2006 NAIA National Player-of-the-Year as a sophomore. Morningside, Northwestern, Hastings, and Concordia all have secured berths in the NAIA Women’s Division II National Basketball Tournament. The tournament runs, March 12-18, at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa. The Bracket will be released later today.
