The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s basketball player-of-the-week for February 4 – February 10, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week
Debbie Remmerde, Northwestern
  Northwestern guard Debbie Remmerde is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week. Remmerde, a 5-9 senior from Rock Valley, Iowa, averaged 42 points per game while shooting 75% from behind the three point line. For the week she made 9-12 three pointers and 19-19 free throws. Northwestern, ranked 2^nd in NAIA Division II, is now 24-1 and 14-0 in the GPAC. Northwestern will host Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday night at 6PM.
