![]() Remmerde Averaged Over 30 Points a Game on the Week The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s basketball player-of-the-week for January 20 – January 27, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week
Debbie Remmerde, Northwestern Northwestern guard Debbie Remmerde is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week. Remmerde, a 5-9 senior from Rock Valley, Iowa, averaged 31 points and 5.7 rebounds per game as second ranked Northwestern posted a 3-0 record on the week. For the week she made 10-16 three pointers and 36-50 field goals while shooting 72% from the floor and 63% from behind the three point line. She made 11-12 free throws for 92%. Her scoring average of 29.1 points per game currently leads the country. Northwestern is now 20-1 on the season and 10-0 in league play and will host Dordt on Wednesday night at 6PM in Orange City, Iowa. |
