 Doane's Kym Bennett was a NAIA All-American in 2007 The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s indoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for January 7 – January 13, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC players-of-the-week and players and coaches-of-the-year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week Doane’s Abby Schlueter is the field athlete-of-the-week. Schlueter, a junior from Beatrice, Nebraska, placed first in the triple jump and second in the long jump at the Ward Haylett Invite. Her measurement in the triple jump was 37.06.75, while in the long jump she posted a 17-03.50 mark. The mark in the triple jump meets the NAIA automatic standard, while the long jump measurement is a provisional mark. Schlueter was a NAIA All-American for Indoor Track and Field last year.
