![]() Olivia Johnson and Charity Miles from Northwestern College earned All-American honors as the freshmen finished in third and fifth place at the 2007 NAIA Cross Country Women's Championship. The Concordia women placed in the top-20 for the 14th consecutive season with a 15th place finish. The NAIA Men's Cross Country Championships also took place on Saturday in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Malone College (Ohio) captured its second men's team title while Simon Fraser (B.C.) won its fifth straight women's championship. Aron Rono and Jaime Canterburry of Azusa Pacific (Calif.) claimed the men's and women's individual titles respectively. The 2007 event was run at the Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, Nebraska Wesleyan senior Chris Dunker placed 24th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Northfield, Minn., to earn All-America honors for the second consecutive year. Dunker finished the 8K race in 25:07, and the Prairie Wolves placed 14th overall in the 32-team men's field. The NWU women were led by seniors Amber Brandenburger and Brittany Hubbard, who placed 59th and 62nd, respectively. In the 6K women's race, Nebraska Wesleyan finished 16th out of 32 teams.
