![]() Briar Cliff's Mary Schroeder-Miller Briar Cliff Head Volleyball Coach, Mary Schroeder-Miller was inducted into the Iowa High School Volleyball Hall of Fame. One of three new inductees that increased the 10-year old shrine's membership to 30, Schroeder-Miller became the sixth hall of famer from tradition-rich Dubuque Wahlert.
Schroeder-Miller was Wahlert's first all-state performer, leading the Golden Eagles to the 1976 state title. As a student-athlete here at BC, where she played four sports, she was a four-time all-conference performer in volleyball. A coach in the high school ranks, working at both North High and Bishop Heelen, Schroeder-Miller returned to BC as the head volleyball coach in 1996. Scroeder-Miller's teams have won 20 or more matches in 10 of her 12 seasons and have made GPAC Tournament play the past three seasons. |
