 M'Side to Host GPAC Volleyball Championship at 7:30 PM on Saturday Top seed Morningside and second seed Northwestern each posted 3-0 victories on Wednesday night in the 2007 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Volleyball Tournament. In Sioux City, Iowa, number one seed Morningside defeated 5th seed Dordt 3-0 (30-22, 30-22, 30-24), while in Orange City, Iowa, number two seed Northwestern defeated 3rd seed Hastings 3-0 (30-21, 30-25, 30-27).
The 2007 GPAC Post-Season Championship Match will be played on Saturday, November 10, in Sioux City at Morningside College beginning at 7:30 PM
The winner of the GPAC tournament gains an automatic berth in the NAIA Region III Championships. The GPAC and Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Postseason Champions receive automatic berths, with the four remaining berths going to the highest ranked teams in the region. The NAIA Region III Tournament is November 16-17 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at Sioux Falls Christian High School.
