The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following volleyball players-of-the-week for October 29 – November 4, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week
Player- Megan Meyer, Northwestern – Outside Hitter
  Northwestern outside hitter Megan Meyer is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Player-of-the-Week. Meyer, a 5-10 senior from Aplington, Iowa, averaged 4.63 kills and five digs per game as the Red Raiders went 2-0. In a 3-2 road win at #11 Dordt she totaled 29 kills and 33 digs. Northwestern, 26-7, will host Hastings on Wednesday night in the GPAC Semifinals at 7:30 PM.
Setter- Kali Angerman, Morningside
 
Morningside setter Kali Angerman is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Angerman 5-9 junior from Sioux City, Iowa, lofted 15.25 assists per game as Morningside went 2-0 and won the GPAC regular season championship with a 14-2. Against Briar Cliff she set a single match Morningside record with 81 assists and also posted a season high 19 digs. Morningside, 31-2, will host Dordt on Wednesday night in the GPAC Semifinals at 7:30 PM.
 
Libero – Jericho Johnson, Morningside
  Morningside libero Jericho Johnson is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Libero-of-the-Week. Johnson, a sophomore from Hastings, Nebraska, averaged 9.13 digs per game in a pair of Mustangs wins. For the week she was 48-48 on serve receive. Against Briar Cliff she totaled 57 digs and broke the Morningside school record for a single match. Morningside, 31-2, host Dordt on Wednesday night in the GPAC Semifinals at 7:30 PM.
