Honors Announced
Postseason honors for the 2007 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cross Country season have been announced.  Below are the runners-of-the-year, coaches-of-the-year, and all-conference team.
Olivia Johnson from Northwestern has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runner-of-the-Year, and headlines the 2007 GPAC Women’s Cross Country All-Conference team. Johnson was the medalist at the GPAC Championships on Saturday at Doane with a time 18:07.93.

Northwestern coach Dale Thompson, who led the Red Raiders to a third place conference finish and the top two individual finishes, has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Cross Country Coach-of-the-Year.
 
 
On the men’s side Chris Dunker from Nebraska Wesleyan is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runner-of-the-Year, and headlines this year’s GPAC Men’s Cross Country All-Conference team. Dunker placed first in Saturday’s men’s race with a time of 25:45.23.

Nebraska Wesleyan coach Ted Bulling, who led his men’s team to GPAC Championship, has been honored as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Cross Country Coach-of-the-Year.
The Top-15 runners in each race last Saturday are GPAC All-Conference for 2007 (list below).

The NAIA Region III Cross Country Championships are this Saturday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the Prairie Green Golf Course. The women’s 5K race will be at 11:00AM with the men’s 8K race at 11:45AM.
