![]() First Round Men's Soccer Complete First round action was played on Wednesday, October 31, in the 2007 NAIA Region III Men’s Soccer Tournament. In Blair, Nebraska, 6th seeded Sioux Falls defeated 3rd seed Dana 2-1, while in Fremont, Nebraska, 5th seeded Morningside defeated 4th seed Midland Lutheran 2-1 in overtime. Both the Cougars and Mustangs now move on to the Final Four this Monday and Tuesday, November 5-6, in Hastings, Nebraska. Hastings College is the number one seed and will host the final four at Lloyd Wilson Field. The Broncos and number two seed Northwestern received first round byes in the six team single elimination tournament. The first semifinal will be at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 5, with number one seed Hastings (15-2-1) playing #5 Morningside (10-6-3). Two seed Northwestern (10-7-1) will play in the second semifinal at 7:00 pm against #6 Sioux Falls (13-6). The winner of the NAIA Region III Tournament automatically qualifies for the NAIA National Men’s Soccer Championships which will take place November 14-20 in Olathe, Kansas, at the College Boulevard Activities Center. The GPAC will not have a conference tournament this year.
