![]() First Round Women's Soccer Complete First round action was played on Tuesday, October 30, in the 2007 NAIA Region III Women’s Soccer Tournament. In Blair, Nebraska, 4th seeded Dana defeated 5th seed Doane 1-0, while in Hastings, Nebraska, 3rd seeded Hastings defeated 6th seed Dordt 1-0. Both the Vikings and Broncos now move on to the Final Four this Friday and Saturday, November 2-3, in Sioux City, Iowa. Morningside College is the number one seed and will host the final four at Elwood Olsen Stadium. The Mustangs and number two seed Midland Lutheran received first round byes in the six team single elimination tournament. The first semifinal will be at NOON on Friday, November 2, with number one seed Morningside (15-2-1) playing #4 Dana (12-7). Two seed Midland Lutheran (12-1-4) will play in the second semifinal at 2:30 pm against #3 Hastings (13-3-1). The winner of the NAIA Region III Tournament automatically qualifies for the NAIA National Women’s Soccer Championships which will take place November 14-20 in Daytona Beach, Florida, at Embry Riddle University. The GPAC will not have a conference tournament this year.
