![]() Doane's Alicia Exstrom The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s soccer players-of-the-week for October 22 -October 28, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women’s Offense- Abby Bull, Morningside (Forward) Morningside forward Abby Bull is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Bull, a 5-7 freshman from Elkhorn, Nebraska, netted two goals and added an assist as Morningside went 1-0-1 on the week and won the GPAC regular season championship with a 11-0-1 record. Morningside is now 15-2-1 and will host Dana in a NAIA Region III Semifinal on Friday at NOON in Sioux City, Iowa. Women’s Defense- Alicia Exstrom, Doane (Keeper) Doane keeper Alicia Exstrom is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Exstrom, a 5-10 sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, posted two shutouts in goal as Doane went 2-1 on the week. The Tigers qualified for their first ever regional tournament with a final regular season record of 8-7-3. Doane lost their regional opener on Tuesday 1-0 at Dana. |
