Morningside College is the number one seed and final four host for the 2007 NAIA Region III Women’s Soccer Tournament which opens on Tuesday, October 30. The Mustangs and number two seed Midland Lutheran receive first round byes in the six team single elimination tournament.

First round games on Tuesday, October 30, will have number six seed Dordt (10-6-1) playing at number three Hastings (12-3-1) at 6:00 PM in Hastings, Nebraska. The other first round game will feature number five seed Doane (8-7-3) at number four seed Dana (11-7) at 1:00 PM in Blair, Nebraska.

Morningside will host the NAIA Region III Final Four on Friday and Saturday, November 2 and 3. The first semifinal will be at NOON with number one seed Morningside (15-2-1) playing the winner of the #4 Dana/#5 Doane match. Two seed Midland Lutheran (12-1-4) will play in the second semifinal at 2:30 pm against the winner of the #3 Hastings /#6 Dordt match.

The winner of the NAIA Region III Tournament automatically qualifies for the NAIA National Women’s Soccer Championships which will take place November 14-20 in Daytona Beach, Florida, at Embry Riddle University.
