Hastings College is the number one seed and final four host for the 2007 NAIA Region III Men’s Soccer Tournament which opens on Wednesday, October 31. The Broncos and number two seed Northwestern receive first round byes in the six team single elimination tournament.

First round games on Wednesday, October 31, will have number six seed Sioux Falls (12-6) playing at number three Dana (10-5-3) at 1:00 PM in Blair, Nebraska. The other first round game will feature number five seed Morningside (9-6-3) at number four seed Midland Lutheran (13-5) at 1:00 PM in Fremont, Nebraska.

Hastings will host the NAIA Region III Final Four on Monday and Tuesday, November 5 and 6. The first semifinal will be at 4:00 PM with number one seed Hastings (12-3-1) playing the winner of the #4 Midland Lutheran/#5 Morningside match. Two seed Northwestern (10-7-1) will play in the second semifinal at 7:00 PM against the winner of the #3 Dana /#6 Sioux Falls match.

The winner of the NAIA Region III Tournament automatically qualifies for the NAIA National Men’s Soccer Championships which will take place November 14-20 in Olathe, Kansas, at the College Boulevard Activities Center.

The GPAC will not have a conference tournament this year.
