The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men’s soccer players-of-the-week for October 15 -October 21, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Men’s Offense- Brad White, Northwestern (Forward)
  Northwestern forward Brad White is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. White, a 5-9 sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colorado, netted two goals and added an assist as the Red Raiders won a pair of league games. He assisted on the game winning goal in a home victory over Morningside 2-1 in double-overtime and scored the lone goal in Northwestern’s 1-0 win at #17 Hastings. White leads Northwestern with 22 points and six assists, he his second with eight goals. The Red Raiders are 10-5-1 on the season and 7-2-1 in the GPAC.
 
Men’s Defense – Ben Schneider, Northwestern (Keeper)
  Northwestern keeper Ben Schneider is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Schneider, a 6-1 freshman from Colorado Springs, Colorado, allowed one goal while totaling 11 saves as the Red Raiders went 2-0 with wins over Morningside and Hastings. His shut out win over Hastings marked the fifth in his career. The 1-0 win was Northwestern’s win over the Broncos since 1997. The Red Raiders are 10-5-1 this fall.
