Hastings' Allison Kotschwar The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s soccer players-of-the-week for October 15 -October 21, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women’s Offense- Maggie Kukuk, Morningside (Forward) Morningside forward Maggie Kukuk is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Kukuk, a 5-3 sophomore from Sioux City, Iowa, totaled four assists on the week as the Mustangs improved to 14-2. In a 4-1 win at Northwestern she posted three assists and tied the Morningside single match record. She added one assist in a 2-0 win at Concordia and became the Mustangs’ all-time assist leader with 31. Morningside leads the GPAC with a 10-0 record. Women’s Defense- Allison Kotschwar, Hastings (Midfielder)
Hastings midfielder Allison Kotschwar is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Kotschwar, a 5-3 sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska, played a key role in a pair of Bronco shutouts as they improved to 10-3-1. She helped the cause by netting three goals in wins over Northwestern and Dakota Wesleyan. Hastings is 8-2 in league play. |
