The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for October 1 – October 7, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
WOMEN - Kate Becker, Midland Lutheran
  Kate Becker from Midland Lutheran is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Becker, a junior from York, Nebraska, placed first in the Concordia Invite with an 85. Eight teams participated in the meet at the Seward Country Club. The course measured out at 5826 yards. Hastings won the meet with a 351.
MEN- Tyler Evenson, Dakota Wesleyan
  
Dakota Wesleyan’s Tyler Evenson is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Evenson, a freshman from Lead, South Dakota, shot a 141 in winning the Hampton Inn/Dakota Wesleyan Palace City Classic. The two-day round set a new 36 hole round record at DWU. The Tiger men won the meet by 21 strokes.
