The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men’s soccer players-of-the-week for October 1 -October 7, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Men’s Offense- Mario Khoury, Morningside (Forward)
  Morningside forward Mario Khoury is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Khoury, a sophomore from Rapid City, South Dakota, netted three goals and added one assist as the Mustang men went 2-0 on the week. In a 1-0 win at #13 Hastings Khoury scored the lone goal, against Dordt he scored twice with the one assist. Morningside’s men are 6-4-2 on the season and 4-2 in the GPAC.
Men’s Defense – Josh Miller, Nebraska Wesleyan (Keeper)
  Nebraska Wesleyan keeper Josh Miller is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Miller, a sophomore from Rapid City, South Dakota, allowed no goals on the week as the Prairie Wolves went 2-0. In a 1-0 win over Midland Lutheran he posted nine saves in 90 minutes of work, while against Mount Marty he accumulated three saves over 59 minutes of work. His goals against average is 1.06 for the season. NWU is 9-3-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the GPAC.
