![]() Northwestern's Macy Rozeboom The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s soccer players-of-the-week for October 1 -October 7, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women’s Offense- Macy Rozeboom, Northwestern (Forward)
Northwestern forward Macy Rozeboom is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Rozeboom, a senior from Chino Hills, California, scored four goals and had one assist as the Red Raiders went 2-1 on the week. She scored two goals against both Sioux Falls and Doane, while adding an assist in the USF match. For the season she leads Northwestern with nine goals and five assists. The Red Raiders are 6-6 on the season with a 6-0 GPAC record. Women’s Defense- Maureen Vandenbrouke, Morningside (Defender)
Morningside defender Maureen Vandenbrouke is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Vandenbrouke, a senior from Gretna, Nebraska, was a key to the Mustangs defense in wins over Dordt (3-0) and at Hastings (2-1). She is a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Morningside is 10-2 overall and 6-0 in league play this fall. |
