![]() GPAC Golf Honors The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 10 – September 16, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week WOMEN
Katie Becker, Midland Lutheran Midland Lutheran’s Katie Becker is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Becker, a junior from York, Nebraska, placed first in the GPAC Preview at Wilderness Ridge in Lincoln, Nebraska. Wilderness Ridge will host the GPAC Women’s Golf Championships on October 11 and 12. The GPAC Preview Meet was hosted by Doane College and was won by Dakota Wesleyan who shot a 348. Sioux Falls was second with a 349.

Kyle Jaacks, Nebraska Wesleyan Nebraska Wesleyan’s Kyle Jaacks is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Jaacks, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, posted two top-five finishes in his first collegiate meets. He claimed medalist honors in the Nebraska Intercollegiate Meet with a 145 (72/73) and placed 3rd in the Nebraska Wesleyan Fall Invite with a 146 (72/74). NWU’s men won the Prairie Wolf Invite by 35 strokes with a team total of 588. |
