Pick in 2007

Hastings College, after a trip to the NAIA National Tournament in 2006, is the GPAC coaches’ pick to repeat as conference champion in 2007. The Broncos, coached by Fred Aubuchon, compiled a 35-8 overall record last fall and won the league title with a 16-0 mark. The Broncos totaled 138 points and six first place votes. Northwestern, who posted a 33-6 mark last fall and also made a NAIA National Tournament appearance, is tabbed number two in the preseason with 135 points and five first place votes. Dordt was picked third in the vote with 121 points and the final two first place votes.

The 2007 GPAC volleyball season will once again consist of 16 conference matches with 13 teams competing for the conference crown. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team in the preseason poll.
