 NAIA Region III Softball Complete Top seed Dickinson State needed just one win and claimed the 2007 NAIA Region III Softball Championship in Dickinson, North Dakota. The 8-team double elimination tournament was played at the Gress Softball Complex. The Blue Hawks defeated number two seed Morningside 5-4 in eight innings in the title game on Friday afternoon. With the win the Blue Hawks, now 29-5, advance to the NAIA National Softball Tournament in Decatur, Alabama. The tournament runs May 18-23 at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex.
