Concordia University went 4-0 and won the 2007 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Softball Tournament. The double-elimination tournament was played in Sioux City, Iowa, at the SYA Softball Complex. Friday’s games were played on one field because of rain and the Bulldogs defeated Dana in the winner’s bracket final and again in the title game. Dana and Midland Lutheran both ended the tournament with 3-2 marks, while eighth seeded Briar Cliff went 2-2.

Concordia gains an automatic berth into the NAIA Region III Tournament, while the rest of the teams await word on possible at-large qualification.

The GPAC and DAC Postseason Champions automatically qualify for the regional, while the next six bids are based on the final NAIA Region III rating. That rating will be compiled on Sunday, May 6. The NAIA Region III Tournament is set for May 9-11 in Dickinson, North Dakota, at Dickinson State University.
The NAIA Region III Champion will advance to the NAIA National Softball Tournament in Decatur, Alabama, May 18-23 at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex.
