Midland Lutheran pitcher Kelly Sladek is the NAIA National Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Sladek, a freshman from Cordova, Nebraska, posted a 4-0 record with one save as the Warriors went 6-1 on the week. For the week she struck out 42 with an ERA of .98 in 28 2/3 innings of work. Sladek allowed four earned runs while walking just nine. Her accomplishments on the week included a no-hitter versus Dakota Wesleyan. MLC enters the conference tournament at 24-24.
