The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following baseball player and pitchers-of-the-week for April 16 –April 22, 2007. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2006-2007 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Dusty Meyn, Northwestern
 
Northwestern pitcher Dusty Meyn is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Meyn, a senior from Boyden, Iowa, went 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA. Over 13 innings of work he struck out four and walked one. On the season Meyn is 5-3 with a 2.72 ERA. For the week Northwestern went 5-1 and now sit at 27-11 on the season.

Co-Player- Grant Wall, Northwestern
  Northwestern shortstop Grant Wall is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Co-Player-of-the-Week. Wall, a sophomore from Mountain Lake, Minnesota, hit .682 with ten RBI’s. Over six games he hit four doubles and one homerun. Northwestern is 27-11 on the season after going 5-1 last week.
Co-Player- Clay Sanford, Concordia
 
Concordia first baseman Clay Sanford is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Co-Player-of-the-Week. Sanford, a senior from Houston, Texas, posted a .474 batting average with 13 RBI’s as the Bulldogs went 3-2 on the week. In five games he had four homeruns, three doubles, and scored six runs. His slugging average was 1.263. Concordia is 9-31 on the season.
