(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for Sept. 11-17, 2017. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2017-2018 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Victoria Cera, Concordia University (Midfielder)

Victoria Cera of Concordia is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Cera, a freshman, from Las Vegas, Nevada, scored the first three goals of her career in the same game. Her hat trick and an assist helped boost the Bulldogs to a 7-1 road victory over Waldorf (Iowa).

 

Women's Defense – Hannah Bowes, Dakota Wesleyan University (Goalkeeper)

Hannah Bowes of Dakota Wesleyan is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Bowes, a freshman, from Omaha, Nebraska, has been a mainstay in the net for the Tigers this season. In a 2-1 victory over (RV) University of Jamestown, she tallied nine saves to secure the win for DWU. In just six games as a Tiger, Bowes has recorded 27 saves.
