(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for August 28-Sept.3, 2017. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2017-2018 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – PT Perez, Midland University (Forward)

PT Perez of Midland is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Perez, a sophomore, from San Diego, California, scored five goals in a pair of wins for the Warriors. She had two goals in a 5-1 win over Soka (Calif.) and a hat trick against Sand Diego Christian (Calif.).

               

Women's Defense – Lindsey Carley, Concordia University (Goalkeeper)

Lindsey Carley of Concordia is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Carley, a sophomore, from Urbandale, Iowa, amassed 15 saves and allowed just a single goal. She recorded a shutout against Concordia-Wisconsin while making a career high eight saves. Carley owns a season save percentage of .938 and a goals against average of 0.5.
