GPAC Baseball Poll
Dakota Wesleyan is the GPAC Baseball Coaches’ pick to win the 2007 league title. The Tigers, who are coming off a 29-22 season in 2006, totaled 127 points in the balloting. DWU received four first place votes. Defending champion Midland Lutheran is picked second with 121 points and three first place votes. The Warriors won the league title last year with a 20-2 record and ended the season with a 42-15 overall mark.

The GPAC baseball season will once again consist of 24 games and conclude with the GPAC Postseason Tournament on May 3-5 in Hastings, Nebraska, at Duncan Field and the Smith Complex. The NAIA Region III Tournament will be hosted by the GPAC in Sioux City, Iowa, at Lewis and Clark Park May 9-12.

Points were assigned on a 12-1 basis and coaches’ could not vote for their own team.
