GPAC Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week Announced

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's basketball player-of-the-week for games played February 3- February 9, 2014.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2013-2014 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week

Bailey Morris, Guard- Concordia

Concordia's Bailey Morris is the GPAC/Haufff Mid-America Sports Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week for the second week in a row. Morris, a native of Roseland, Nebraska, recorded a career-high 34 points to bring back No. 9 Concordia from a 17-point deficit at Dakota Wesleyan Saturday where the Bulldogs won 86-84. Her 34-point effort is the highest single-game total for a GPAC player this season. Morris currently ranks second in the league in scoring at 18 points per game. She also averaged 5.5 rebounds per game during the week and went 21-21 from the free throw line.  The Bulldog women are 22-5 overall and 14-3 in the GPAC.
