GPAC Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week Announced

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's basketball players-of-the-week for games played November 11-17, 2013.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2013-2014 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week

Kristen Conahan, Guard – Concordia University
  Concordia guard Kristen Conahan is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week.  Conahan a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, took over down the stretch run for the fifth ranked Bulldogs in a win over 3rd ranked Morningside after scoring only three first half points. She made two 3-pointers in the final five minutes of regulation and then hit another three treys in overtime to lift Concordia to the win. She ended the game with 28 points.  The Omaha native is shooting 48.9 percent from 3-point range and leads all NAIA Division II players with 22 three-point field goals this season. She tops Concordia with an average of 18.8 points per game. Concordia is 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the GPAC.
