GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week Awards Announced
Men's Soccer - Tue, Oct. 15, 2013

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's soccer players-of-the-week for October 7-13, 2013.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2013-2014 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Men's Offense – Nathan Douglas, Forward – Concordia University

            Concordia University forward Nathan Douglas is this week GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Douglas, a senior from Winnipeg, Canada continues his scoring surge with four goals while also adding an assist on the week. The Canada native has eight goals and six assists over his last six games. His eleven goals on the season have tied a career high. The Bulldogs will travel to Orange City, Iowa to take on Northwestern for a 5pm match on October 19.


Men's Defense- Alex Guyer, Keeper – Hastings College

            Hastings College keeper Alex Guyer is this week GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Guyer, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska recorded his third shutout of the season helping the Broncos pick up its tenth win of the season. He has three saves in their 2-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan. The Broncos will host Baker University on October 16 for a 7pm match.
