Concordia and Morningside each totaled 93 points and are the preseason coaches' selections to win the 2013-2014 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Basketball Championship. 

The Bulldogs tallied five first place votes, with the Mustangs picked fist on four ballots.  Morningside was the regular and post-season champion of the league last winter.  Northwestern took the final two first place votes and totaled 84 points in being selected third.  Briar Cliff was picked fourth and Dakota Wesleyan fifth in the early season poll.  

Points were awarded on a 10-1 basis and coaches' could not vote for their own team.
