GPAC Week Twelve Women's Basketball Honor Announced
Women's Basketball - Mon, Feb. 18, 2013

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's basketball players-of-the-week for games played February 11 – February 17, 2013.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2012-2013 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Jami Thramer, Midland University  - Center

  Midland center Jami Thramer is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week. Thramer, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, ends her career at Midland University on a high note as the Warriors ended their 2012-13 campaign.  Thramer marked one of the most impressive weeks averaging 15.5 points per game and 21 rebounds per game this week. On Wednesday in an upset over 9th ranked Briar Cliff University she totaled 15 points and 20 rebounds.  Thramer added four blocks and three steals while shooting 50 percent from the floor. To follow Wednesday's performance, Thramer scored 16 points and tied a school record with 22 rebounds against tenth ranked Northwestern on the road. Thramer's performances this week landed her in Midland's 1000-1000 club as she ended her career with a total of 1,134 points and 1,018 career rebounds.
