GPAC Week Five Women's Basketball Honors Announced

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's basketball players-of-the-week for games played December 10 – December 16, 2012.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2012-2013 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week

Elizabeth Lamb, Dakota Wesleyan University - Forward
 Dakota Wesleyan forward Elizabeth Lamb is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week.  Lamb, a senior from Onida, South Dakota, averaged 14 points and 3.5 steals per game to help Dakota Wesleyan go 2-0 on the week and improve to 10-4 overall. She scored 18 points Saturday against Doane and hit four 3-pointers, going 5-for-8 from the field and 4-for-5 from long range.  She went 6-for-9 from the three-point line on the week. Dakota Wesleyan is off this week from GPAC play, but is playing two non-conference games against Ashford University and Lakeland College.
