The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's soccer players-of-the-week for October 1 – October 7, 2012.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2012-2013 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Women's Offense- Courtney Richards, Doane College – Forward           
Doane forward Courtney Richards is this week GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Richards, a junior, from Papillion, Nebraska helped lead the Tigers to a 2-0 record on the week. Richards was an offensive force for the Tigers scoring four goals and adding an assist on the week. She scored all three goals in a come-from-behind win at Briar Cliff handing the Chargers their first conference loss. She leads the GPAC with eleven goals this season and ranks 9th in the NAIA in game-winning goals. The Tigers are now 8-2 on the season and will take on the Northwestern and Hastings this week.

Women's Defense- Felicia Reimann, Morningside College – Keeper           
Morningside College keeper Felicia Reimann is this week GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Reimann, a junior, from Rapid City, South Dakota, led the back line for the Mustangs this week in a pair of ties. Reimann was crucial in the two key ties for the Mustangs against Northwestern and Hastings. She has not allowed a goal in 220 minutes of play shutting out the Red Raiders and the Broncos. Reimann came up with 13 saves on the week with ten of them against the Broncos. The Mustangs are now 5-4-4 on the season and will take on Concordia and Mount Marty this week.
