State Farm announced today they are extending their title sponsorship of the NAIA Div. II Women's Basketball Championship in Sioux City for two more years. State Farm has been the tournament's title sponsor since 2001.
"We feel it says a lot about our community that the NAIA continues to choose Sioux City for this event," said Tom Yaneff, State Farm agent and tournament volunteer. "We know how important the tournament is to this area, and how the community looks forward to it every year."
Aran Rush, Events & Facilities Executive Director for the City of Sioux City, says State Farm's sponsorship helps ensure the NAIA tournament continues to be one of the community's premier annual events. "This tournament would not be possible without the help of our sponsors, and State Farm has stepped up every year to support the tournament not only financially, but also by providing volunteers crucial to the success of the event."
The 2013 NAIA Div. II Women's Basketball Tournament will be held at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City March 6-12.
