Dani Bellet of Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Bellet was selected based on her performances from April 9 - 15 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated group golfer of the week selections.

Bellet, a native of Lead, S.D., recorded three top-4 finishes, including individual crowns at the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Qualifier No. 3 on April 10 and the Morningside Spring Invitational on April 13. Additionally, she paced the Tigers to team titles at both events. Bellet shot an even-par 73 to increase her GPAC individual championship advantage to 14 strokes with a total score 230 through three national championship qualifying events. She built upon that momentum three days later, bettering the second place finisher by eight strokes with an even-par 72 at the Morningside Spring Invitational. Bellet concluded the week with a fourth-place finish at the Augustana Spring Invite, carding a 77-73-150 against a field of NCAA Division II and III golfers.

On the season, Bellet ranks second in the NAIA with a 74.7 stroke average in 18 rounds.
