Midland and Concordia Post Road Wins in Week 0!

Two Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) football teams officially opened the 2010 season on Saturday with non-conference action. Concordia posted a 13-7 win at Peru State and Midland won a Saturday night contest at Dakota State 38-7.
The rest of the GPAC teams will hit the turf next Saturday with five GPAC games scheduled. Midland Lutheran will have the week one bye. In week one of GPAC football Concordia will host Nebraska Wesleyan, Hastings will play at Briar Cliff, Doane at Morningside, Dakota Wesleyan at Dordt, and the rivalry matchup of Sioux Falls at Northwestern.
