2010 GPAC Volleyball Preseason Poll

Northwestern College, after a trip to the NAIA National Tournament quarterfinals in 2009, is the GPAC coaches' pick to win the league title in 2010. The Red Raiders, coached by Kyle Van Den Bosch, compiled a 36-3 overall record last fall and won the conference regular season and tournament titles with a 16-0 record. Northwestern accumulated 121 points and 11 first place votes in the poll of league coaches. Morningside, who posted a 32-9 record last fall, is tabbed number two in the preseason with 101 points. Doane College received 97 points, while Dordt was picked fourth in the vote with 96 points and the final first place vote. Hastings was fifth in the balloting with 85 points. Morningside and Doane joined Northwestern at the NAIA National Volleyball Championship Final Site in Sioux City last year.
 

The 2010 NAIA National Volleyball Championship, presented by Siouxland Sports Medicine, is set for November 30 - December 4 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

The 2010 GPAC volleyball season will consist of 16 conference matches with 12 teams competing for the conference crown. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team in the preseason poll.
