The eleventh annual Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Preseason Football Media Day will be held on Tuesday, August 3, in Lincoln, Nebraska, at Cornhusker Marriott Downtown.

The media is welcome to a free lunch beginning at NOON in Arbor Rooms 1&2. Starting at 1:00 pm the GPAC football coaches will address the media in Lancaster Rooms 5&6 with their 2010 outlook, followed by a question and answer period. The event will conclude with the release of the 2010 GPAC football preseason poll.

Sioux Falls is the defending GPAC football champion after going 10-0 in the league last fall. The Cougars claimed the NAIA National Championship with a 25-22 win over Lindenwood University in Rome, Georgia. USF went 15-0 in 2009. Sioux Falls, Morningside, and Hastings qualified for the NAIA Football Championship Series last year.

The 2009 NAIA National Championship Traveling Trophy will be on display at media day.

The Cornhusker Marriott is located at 333 South 13th Street in Lincoln.
