Decatur Set to Host 30th Annual Event

Update - In Saturday Pool Play Action Midland Lutheran defeated Olivet Nazarene 4-1 and Lubbock Christian defeated Morningside 5-1.  The Warriors are now 1-1 in pool play, while the Mustangs are 0-2.  Midland will play Holy Names (Calif.) on Monday and Morningside will face Indiana University Southeast.
 
The 30th Annual NAIA Softball National Championship opened on Thursday, as thirty-two teams are at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex in Decatur, Ala. Three days of pool-play action will cut the field down to eight teams, who will then battle through a double-elimination bracket for the right to take home the 2010 National Championship.
