GPAC Golf Honors
Women's Golf - Thu, May 6, 2010
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for April 26 - May 2, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women - Maggie Achterhof, Northwestern
Northwestern's Maggie Achterhof is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Achterhof, a junior from Orange City, Iowa, was the medalist at the Sioux Falls Invite last week with a round of 83. She was one of only three players to break 90 at the Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, which played over 6000 yards. The Red Raiders as a team placed as runner-ups to host Sioux Falls.
