Men's Tennis - Thu, May 6, 2010
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following tennis player-of-the-week for the week of April 26 - May 2, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week

Men's Tennis - Michel-Oliver Marcoux

Sioux Falls Michel-Oliver Marcoux is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Oliver Marcoux, a junior from Longueuil, Quebec, posted a 1-0 singles and doubles record on the week for the Cougars. He was playing for his first time since April 10 because of injury and posted a singles and doubles win over Nebraska Wesleyan. His doubles partner is Nolan Wiese. Sioux Falls will be the two seed in the GPAC Championship this weekend in Fremont, Nebraska.

Women's Tennis - Taylor Cook, Concordia

Concordia's Taylor Cook is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Cook, a junior from Belleville, Illinois, posted a 2-0 singles and 2-0 doubles record on the week for the Bulldogs. Her wins came against Nebraska Wesleyan and Midland Lutheran. Her doubles partner is Hannah Krueger. Concordia's women are the three seed in the GPAC Championship this weekend in Fremont, Nebraska.
