GPAC Golf Qualifier #4
Men's Golf - Mon, May 3, 2010
The fourth and final GPAC Men's Golf Qualifier is set for Tuesday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the Prairie Green Golf Course. The round will be hosted by The University of Sioux Falls. Morningside enters the final round with an eight stroke lead on Nebraska Wesleyan in the Championship race. Dakota Wesleyan is in third in the team standings. Tuesday's round will complete the 72 holes for the season.

Nebraska Wesleyan shot a 310 in won GPAC Men's Golf Qualifier #3 at Firethorn in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Monday, April 12. Morningside shot a 322 in round three and finished in fourth place. Dakota Wesleyan placed second in the qualifier with a 317 and Northwestern shot a 320 and placed third. Overall Morningside now leads the GPAC Golf Championships with a 54 hole total of 927, while Nebraska Wesleyan now had 935 and Dakota Wesleyan 949.

In the individual medalist race Northwestern's Luke Vermeer is in first place after shooting an even par round of 71 (34, 37) in Lincoln. He took over first place in the individual race with a three round total of 220. Morningside's Cam Jacobs is now second after a round of 82 and has a 54 hole total of 226.

The top two GPAC Men's Teams (excluding Nebraska Wesleyan who plays NCAA Division III for the Postseason), along with the medalist, will advance to the NAIA Men's National Golf Championships in May.

GPAC Men's Golf Qualifiers Updated Results (Through 54 Holes)
