Men's Outdoor T&F - Sat, May 1, 2010
The 2010 GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships were completed in Hastings, Nebraska, on Saturday. 

On the women's side after 22 events Concordia and Doane ended in a tie for the team title. Both teams scored 158 points on the day.  The men's title went to Doane who scored 192.50 points.

Outstanding female athlete honors were awarded to Doane's DeeJay Silcott who scored 21.50 points individually on the day. Men's honors went to Hastings Scott Fritz who scored 28 points for the Broncos.
Six new meet records were set:

Men's 4x800 - Morningside 7:45.82 (T. Chapman, E. Graf, B. Gesink, and M Larsen)

Men's Shot Put - Scott Fritz 18.04 Meters

Women's 5,000 Meters - Jackie Spelts, Nebraska Wesleyan 17:32.37

Women's Pole Vault - Brigitte Gross, Sioux Falls 3.83 Meters

Women's Hammer Throw - Amanda Brichacek, Nebraska Wesleyan 53.64 Meters

Women's 4x100 - Dakota Wesleyan 47.63 (S. Leist, A. Christianson, T. Irvin, N. Wipf)

It was the first year for the Women's Heptathlon and Men's Decathlon so officially those events are the new meet records as well.

Coach of the Year Honors and Outstanding Performances of the Meet will be announced next week.
