Men's Tennis - Chris Ondrey, Hastings
Hastings Chris Ondrey is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Ondray, a sophomore from Rosenberg, Texas, posted a 2-0 #4 singles and 2-0 #3 doubles record on the week as the Broncos remained undefeated atop the men's conference standings with a 6-0 record. He posted singles wins over Morningside and Sioux Falls and joined his doubles partner Andrew Huber for wins over the same opponents. Ondrey is undefeated in singles play this season and has lost just once in the last two years. The Broncos are 12-11 overall on the season.
Women's Tennis - Jayme Haensel, Sioux Falls
Sioux Falls Jayme Haensel is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Haensel, a senior from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, posted a 3-0 #4 singles record and a 2-2 #2 doubles record on the week for the Cougars. Sioux Falls is now 7-0 in league play with one match remaining against undefeated Nebraska Wesleyan this weekend. NWU is 6-0 with a match against Morningside on the schedule Saturday as well.
