Men's Tennis - Tue, Apr 13, 2010
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's tennis player-of-the-week for the week of April 5 - April 11, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week

Men's Tennis - Josh Siske, Doane
Doane's Josh Siske is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Siske, a senior from Ralston, Nebraska, went 4-0 on the week for the Tigers. At #2 singles he won both of his matches in conference play versus Nebraska Wesleyan and Morningside. In Doubles action he and his partner Ross Schulenberg defeated both Nebraska Wesleyan and Morningside as well. Doane scored more points against the Prairie Wolves in one match than they have in the last ten years combined as they challenged NWU in a 6-3 loss.
 
Women's Tennis - Karlee Long, Doane
Doane's Karlee Long is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Long, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, went 3-1 on the week for the Tigers. She posted a #1 singles win and loss against Morningside and Nebraska Wesleyan respectively. Her singles loss came in a tie-breaker. In doubles action she and her partner Kendra Becker teamed up to go 2-0 with wins against the Mustangs and Prairie Wolves.
