Pitcher - Cory Hilgenkamp, Nebraska Wesleyan
Nebraska Wesleyan pitcher Cory Hilgenkamp is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Hilkenkamp, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, posted two complete game wins last week as the Prairie Wolves got back to .500 in league play. For the week he struck out 17 over 14 innings and walked just five. His ERA for the week was 3.21. At the plate he helped his cause with a homerun, three doubles, and seven RBI's. Nebraska Wesleyan is now 10-9 overall and 6-6 in conference games.
Player- Andrew Jenkins, Sioux Falls
Sioux Falls first baseman Andrew Jenkins is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Player-of-the-Week. Jenkins, a senior from Valley Center, California, had a big week for the Cougars with a .522 batting average and ten RBI's. Over seven games he also scored eleven runs and stole seven bases in seven attempts. Sioux Falls has won six games in a row to improve to 21-13 on the year and 9-3 in the conference.
