The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's tennis player-of-the-week for the week of March 29 - April 4, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 20092010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis - Michael Marcoux, Sioux Falls
Sioux Falls Michael Marcoux is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Marcoux, a junior from Quebec, Canada, posted a solid week at the number one singles and doubles position for the Cougars as they played over spring break. He went 3-1 in singles play and along with his doubles partner, Juan Carlos Mata, went 1-2 on the week. In singles play he posted the lone Cougar win against #14 Lindenwood as he defeated Caio Claudino. Marcoux was a first team All-GPAC performer at number one singles in 2009.
